Designed as a development owned by m_Royce Architecture, this project will be a proving ground for unconventional construction and details aimed at pushing the boundaries of what is possible on the small lots that are becoming more common in Los Angeles. Oxford Triangle consists of two residences on two adjacent lots. The front structure is 3,000sf, 4 stories, made entirely from concrete and will house: the design studio, a screening room, car elevator, pool, bedrooms and an art exhibition space. The project is designed to pay homage to the history of Venice and the immediate neighborhood by making references to the old canal hidden below the site, the long lost rail road, oil industry, and materially-layered cityscape seen throughout Venice.
